my playbook is here!

I couldn't wait to send you this email and finally let you know...

I’m launching my Playbook today!

This is not my book about Play (which, if I can continue to find uninterruptible writing moments, will happen in the next few months).

This is a $27 downloadable playbook full of reflective (and fun) activities that you can do anywhere, at any time.

What is a playbook, you ask?

My son said it’s what they use on his football team, but I wanted more, so I looked it up.

Playbook. / (ˈpleɪˌbʊk) / noun. a book containing a range of possible strategies in any sphere of activity. Its purpose is to define what needs to be done to move forward, breaking down strategy into actionable plays.

Exactly! This is what I intend for you!

To give you a range of strategies to help you get unstuck and shift that part inside you that may feel lost, or even unhappy.

Imagine for the price of a few lattes (or one martini if you live in NYC like me...), you can find all the inspiration you need to live with more lightness.

In 67 pages, you will find activities, examples, playlists, as well as tools to hold you accountable.

You will also get more information about the 5 Play Personas: The Mover, The Thinker, The Creator, The Connector, and The Explorer.

You will walk away knowing:

  1. WHO you are by taking a deeper dive into the 5 Play Personas, including the ones that specifically define you (for example, I’m decidedly an “Explorer," with a lot of “Mover" in me)
  2. WHY play is essential to your overall well-being, and ideas to overcome the obstacles that get in your way
  3. HOW to give yourself the time, space, and permission to play so you can create a more meaningful and fulfilling life

I know. It’s hard to make time to play!

As we grow up, we get serious. This is normal, and part of our evolution.

But in all that seriousness, it’s easy to get exhausted and overwhelmed.

Parenting. Work. Finances. Responsibilities. The pressures of life.

These are all important, but they can’t steer the ship all the time. I know that from experience.

I also know that play can sound frivolous or feel purposeless.

But is it?

When fun, flow, freedom, and fulfillment are the results?

Isn't that what we ultimately want?

Your older self is asking (begging) you not to have these regrets later in life:

  • “I wish I had more fun.”
  • “I wish I spent more time connecting with friends.”
  • “I wish I traveled more.”
  • “I wish I wasn’t so hard on myself."

Sooooo….

Even if you only have time to skim this Playbook, have a look at the activities and ask yourself:

  • When was the last time I played and what’s stopping me?
  • When do I lose track of time and why don’t I do more of it?
  • What can I do for my own joy and how can I take action?

I promise you’ll close this Playbook and find your answers.

With fierce love,
Alison
